The aim of the project is to develop alternative mobile routes for sustainable and year-round tourism in the cross-border region of North Macedonia and Bulgaria, with the purpose of improving the tourism offer and supporting economic development.
The project “Balkan Alternative Routes for Sustainable All-Season Tourism (BalkanVelo)” is funded by the European Union and the national funds of the participating countries under the Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria–North Macedonia Programme (CCI Number: 2021TC16IPCB006).
